Body movement becomes integral to performance. Students study how people can make snap judgements based on appearance and learn to take advantage of it. They may creep like a creature to frighten, stand tall and proud to intimidate or pull in to seem shy and sweet. They also begin to study how they can show audiences they are wrong to make these presumptions. The creeping creature or tall and imposing figures may be kind and the seemingly sweet character may be deceiving others. By this time we are really pushing performers out of their comfort zone to avoid them being type-cast and pigeon-holed in the future.
