Vocal Performance

Please contact us if you have a performer interested in Voice I. Enrollment for the class is not currently open, but we can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

Voice I Overview

All technique classes are an opportunity for Company/Broadway students to come together, working on skills applicable to both season's titles. Students broaden their abilities and are more prepared to meet future challenges on top of present ones.

Students in Voice I learn technique by practicing proper breathing, pitch, and projection. Each new skill propels forward both the performer and the production.

Elementary elements of vocal technique are introduced as we help performers build their strength and confidence onstage. Their voices and faces will become more expressive. They will work on music theory, breath support, matching pitch, and learning to sing with confidence onstage.

Your child will learn elementary elements of:

  • Healthy Singing
  • Breathing
  • Matching Pitch
  • Projection and Enunciation
  • Voice/Body Connection
  • Expressive Voice and Face
  • Gaining Confidence in Solo Singing
  • Music Theory
