The LINX Theater program is designed to give the quiet performer a voice and the energetic performer focus. The fun and merriment help literature come to life for students and audiences alike!
Students will study both short-form comedy and long-form. One is quick jokes and sketches. The other includes creating entire stories that can last up to a half hour. Nothing builds self-trust and confidence better than improvisation.
Learn technique by practicing proper breathing, pitch, and projection. Each new skill propels forward both the performer and the production.
Students learn, sketch ideas, collaborate on models and props to be used in a spring theater production. This full year, 50 minute per week program will give students a behind the scenes perspective of theater production.
Company I performers enjoy greater challenges and see greater progress than recreational players. Students learn character development, storytelling, and how to engage an audience and more.
Company II performers have a strong foundation to build on as they begin to immerse themselves in the process, developing characters and scenes that transport an audience from the theater to the world within the show.
LINX Theater Broadway professionally executes shows that are familiar to the Musical Theater and Broadway following.
In Broadway II, students continue their theatrical journey by learning to work as a part of a cohesive ensemble and develop a character.
Our private acting and voice lessons give performers a dedicated hour of attention that is catered specifically to their needs.
